This photo was taken for an autobiography (German celebrity). For this shoot, we rented a gym and booked a stunt coordinator. However, we encountered several problems during the shoot. First, it was far too painful to attach the rope directly to the legs. Luckily, I had a plan B. To be on the safe side, I bought so-called "gravity boots" that had sufficient padding and were easy to attach the rope to. I then photographed the legs again without the gravity boots and reassembled them in post-production.
The second problem was that the head immediately filled with blood, and it just didn't look good. Especially because the subject in a book is also seen from a different perspective. So we also re-photographed the head in its normal position and swapped it around. We actually hung the author like that, only swapping a few parts afterward. Because I worked full-time in post-production for five years, I knew exactly what to pay attention to on set to ensure everything came together well in post-production.
